Matthew is a very busy boy. He loves to snuggle and be held. He also likes to read books and play peek a boo. He also says several words including mama, dada, sh (shoe), duckder (tucker--our dog), ball and num-num when he is hungry, and he knows where his nose, toes, and eyes are. He loves to take baths and when it's time for night-night he grabs his binky and runs to his bedroom.
Evelyn has also been keeping us busy. She is very independent and also loves to read books. She even pretends to read to us (so cute!!!). She loves to dance to music, and play with Tickle Me Elmo. Evelyn is quite a talker. She says No, num-num, out go (out we go), bye-bye, mama, dada, night night, and all done. Evelyn knows where her toes are, and grabs them and says "we, we, we" (all the way home). Evelyn loves to play peek a boo and patty cake. Evelyn also tells us when she is ready for night-night and runs down the hall to her room.
Both babies are now eating regular food, and only have a bottle at bedtime. They also like to play with toys they can put inside other toys. They are getting good at putting shapes where they belong--like in puzzles or toys with openings for blocks.
It is so fun to see what new things they learn each day!
