Another Busy Weekend

We took full advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend, and got in as much time outside as possible.

We started with some play time outside at our house on Friday.

We were lucky to have a visit from Grandma Georgine (my Mom visiting from Illinois) and Grandma Jean who came down to see us all on Friday afternoon. Grandma Jean brought a treat for the kids--a train set that Ethan had when he was a little guy (probably about 3 years old). Ethan set it up, and we were all hoping Matthew and Evelyn would enjoy it as much as Ethan did.

And we were not disappointed! They loved watching the train go around the track, and the smoke come out of the engine.

Ethan even showed Matthew how to manage the controls. What a treat!


After our busy day Friday, we headed for the camper to enjoy the rest of the weekend. Grandma Georgine and Grandma Jean drove up to spend the afternoon with us on Saturday. They even brought dinner! Thanks again, Grandmas! We sure enjoyed visiting!

Sunday was another beautiful day, so we decided to take a nature walk in the State Park that borders our camper resort.

We are so thankful for this gorgeous weather, and glad we were able to visit with "the Grandmas" this weekend! Hope this weather lasts just a little bit longer!
