Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

This weekend, we made our annual trip to Rum River Tree farm to find and cut down our Christmas Tree. The kids were so excited to go out and play in the snow!

Matthew just loved it. He walked the entire time, and even cried when we had to get back into the truck after almost an hour of walking around and trying to find the tree we wanted.


Matt cut it down, and Ethan hauled it back to the truck (with his good arm!).


Evelyn did not appreciate the snow as much as Matthew, and insisted on being held the entire time!

Decorating today was so much fun! Matthew kept saying "I am having so much fun! I love decorating the tree!"

Evelyn also enjoyed decorating the tree, and very carefully placed her ornaments on the branches.

While most of our ornaments ended up on 2 bottom branches, I think our tree turned out beautifully! Hopefully I'll have some time to get some gifts wrapped and under the tree tomorrow. We'll see. . . .
