Changes. . . .

These past few months have definitely been a season of change for our family.  For the twins in particular, the past few days has held much change for them!  As they approach their third birthday this month, they have completed their second session of swimming lessons, said good-bye to their binkies (a big adjustment, that went rather smoothly thanks to the Binky Fairy and a few presents), and they have started down the potty training road!  We have been working on it part-time (thanks Grandma Faye!) for a couple of weeks now, so this weekend we really worked hard on it, and the kids are so proud of themselves.  Of course, we have had a few accidents along the way, but they are really understanding it and I don't think it will be long and we will be free from diapers!!  Well, that's the recent news . . . . here are some random pics from the last couple of weeks.

Swimming lessons involved practicing our kicking and "scooping" and jumping in from the side.  Then we spent some time playing and sliding down the frog slide (their favorite part).  They were so cute in their little swimming robes (thanks auntie Jes!).  We are taking the Summer off from swimming lessons, but hopefully we'll get lots of practice in!

Danielle took the kids to the beach one day to play in the park and build sand castles.  They loved it!  She said it reminded them of Florida, and they kept calling Lake George the "ocean."

We also spent a little time up at the camper. Hope we'll get up there for another weekend again soon.

Finally, we celebrated Marty's birthday and were able to swim at Marty and Jes's pool this month.  The kids had a blast. . .hope we'll get over there again soon.
