A little catching up

It's been awhile since I posted. . .mostly because the batteries in my camera died, and it took me a little while to get new ones. We have been busy here. . .Matthew has been working on crawling out of his crib, and the pack 'n' play at the camper. I think very soon it will be time for a toddler bed for him, but I'm trying to wait as long as we can. Evelyn has been singing many new songs including Twinkle-Twinkle and Ring Around the Rosy. They both love playing outside, so we've been trying to get outside as often as possible. On to the pictures!

Friday afternoon we went outside to play on our jungle gym. The twins love to swing, climb up the ladder, and go down the slide. I was also able to get Evelyn to keep her pigtails in for quite a long time that day. . .and they were so cute!

When Ethan got off the bus, the twins ran as fast as they could to see him! So cute!!

Saturday we went to a surprise party for Aunt Deb! Happy 60th Birthday!
On Sunday, Faye had several of us ladies over for a Mother's Day brunch. it was fabulous! Unfortunately I was too busy to get any pics!

Today I took the twins for a long walk at a local park. We have done this a few times and it has worked out very well. I get a little exercise and the twins get a nice ride, pretty flowers, and lots of birdies!

Once we are done with our walk, we spend some time at the little park at the end of the trail. They have a cute little area for toddlers with slides that are just their size. There is also a big soccer field they love to "run, run, run" in! This has really become a fun start to our day. After our walk and playing in the park in the fresh air, we head home for a snack and a nice long nap!
