This past week. . . .

This past week, we tried to spend as much time outside as possible. I was hoping if the twins got a good dose of fresh air and exercise they would sleep a little better. That didn't really pan out, but, we did have fun playing outside.

Daddy was busy working on the playground in our backyard:

It turned out so nice, and now we can be sure they have a soft place to land at the end of the slide!

We also spent some time at the park while our playground was under construction. The park is a really nice change of pace for us, and the twins love exploring out there. Matthew also took the plunge and went down the slide all by himself!!! Once he did it the first time, he had so much confidence, and went down all the slides at the park all by himself!!

Evelyn was her normal self, trying every slide and area of the playground. We even found one double slide--perfect photo op!


After a busy morning at the park and some good naps, we had some popsicles on the deck.



A great summer day!!!

Today (Memorial Day) we are off to the zoo!! Might be able to post photos of that trip tonight.
