Matthew figured out how to crawl out of his crib, so we figured it was time for his big boy bed. Evelyn loved his bed so much we decided to transition her bed too. It has been difficult to get them to stay in their beds. Once Evie falls asleep, she will stay in her bed all night for the most part, but Matthew does not care about being a big boy in the slightest, and gets up to come looking for us every time he wakes up--all night long! He has also started a new tradition of waking up at 5:30 a.m. So, we have spent the past week working on our sleep habits and bedtime routines. We are making progress. . .hopefully we'll all be getting some better sleep here soon.

A new phase. . .
It's been awhile since I had time to put up a new blog post. . .mostly because we have been struggling a bit with this new phase, and our utter lack of sleep!

Matthew figured out how to crawl out of his crib, so we figured it was time for his big boy bed. Evelyn loved his bed so much we decided to transition her bed too. It has been difficult to get them to stay in their beds. Once Evie falls asleep, she will stay in her bed all night for the most part, but Matthew does not care about being a big boy in the slightest, and gets up to come looking for us every time he wakes up--all night long!
